Visitors to Slaughter Pen trails in Bentonville enjoy a truly unique urban mountain biking experience. The 40- plus miles of single-track flow alongside the paved Razorback Regional Greenway and by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, where the path is dotted with public art.
‘The Slaughter Pen system includes trails ranging in difficulty from beginners (on the All-American and Seed Tick Shuffle trails) to expert (on Scott Allen Alley and Medusa trails), with connector trails taking riders between the various hubs of the system. An IMBA Silver Level Ride Center, it’s truly a trail system with something for everyone. Clean flow, major downhills, technical rocks, and huge berms. Slaughter Pen backs up to the majestic Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art which provides the opportunity for a unique shot of the building’s architecture and large-scale artwork on the museum grounds around the trail.
