Traversing over 18 miles of hiking trails on the grounds of The Great Passion Play, the 1st Annual Passion Play Trail Run is sure to become a favorite of all who love the outdoors! The Great Passion Play is proud to partner with the OZ Trail system of Northwest Arkansas to provide world-class hiking and biking trails to all who visit.

For more than 50 years, The Great Passion Play has been the premier attraction for families visiting Eureka Springs. With the addition of our trail system, we are ready to welcome all adventure seekers and nature lovers.

Our 1st Annual Passion Play Trail Run will take place on Saturday, April 6, with special performances of The Great Passion Play on April 7-8! Choose from a fun run (paved), 5k trail run, 5-mile trail run, and half marathon trail run. This will be one of many events going on at the Passion Play that weekend in celebration of the total eclipse that will occur on Monday, April 8.

Additional details:

  • Aid stations will be located on each course and refreshments and snacks will be available at the finish line.
  • Each participant will receive a pair of eclipse glasses and a ticket to see The Great Passion Play ($35 value) redeemable anytime in 2024
  • Packet pick-up will be at The Great Passion Play ticket office (935 Passion Play Rd., Eureka Springs, AR 72632)
  • Half marathon and 5-mile races start at 8 a.m.
  • 5k and fun run will start at 8:30 a.m.

Each participant will receive a free ticket to see the play, in addition to other great items provided by our partners in Eureka Springs. Register by March 10 to ensure you receive your shirt! More information can be found by visiting our website.
